Big Cypress Duck Cabin offers some of the best Arkansas Mallard duck hunting opportunities in the state. Located between Tucker Bay and the Black River on a 500 acre rice and soybean farm in Clover Bend, AR, Big Cypress Duck Cabin offers hunters a unique, private opportunity to duck hunt. Since hunting parties are only booked one at a time, our clients are afforded the privacy, freedom, and flexibility that you don’t get at larger lodges that accommodate several hunting parties at a time.
Located in the heart of the Mississippi Flyway, Big Cypress Duck Cabin lies due east of the 11,000 acre Shirey Bay-Rainey Brake WMA and less than 25 miles southwest of the 25,000 acre Dave Donaldson Black River WMA. Both WMAs are flooded each year and managed for public duck hunting. Each of these state owned wildlife management areas and the tens of thousands of acres of rice, soybeans, and corn grown in the area provide ideal habitat for the hundreds of thousands of migrating ducks and geese that pass through Arkansas each winter.
